Like the article already stated, probably not going to happen although he would be an awesome hire! It’s sad, that most people who leave the Dolphins have success elsewhere and not the other way around.

well, if he only goes somewhere else to be their special teams coach this year then if this regime crashes this year, lets bring him in for a real head coaching interview next year.

There is another Shula out there doing good as a DC.

A few years ago Ross said that they were hoping to find the next Don Schula. Unfortunately, that means passing over established coaches like Andy Reid and giving the likes of Gase and Philbin and Flores 3 or 4 years to fill the big man's shoes. That's a fool's errand when it's Grier trying to recognize the raw talent and make the pick.

Rizzi is obviously a very good ST coach. I don't think anyone in the league views him as a HC, or he'd have gotten a job by now. While I think almost all Dolphins fans would want him back, it seems like Ross and Grier burned that bridge. He may follow Payton to Denver.

Unless you want to release Tua and trade Tyreek. I think it's too late. You are locked into these players, coach, and scheme.

They aren't doing that with their job on the line. Pretend for another season, and hopefully Ross finally has the balls to do what he should have done years ago, fire Grier.

Ross is a joke of an owner, the fact he hasn't fired Grier yet shows how out of touch he really is. McDaniel already admits he has problems in discipline of players, this usually happens when all you want to be as a coach is a best friend. I agree Grier needs to go first then McDaniel for his lack of being able to adapt to the game and hitching his horse to the Tua post.
