The Dolphins made an offer to free agent cornerback Demarcus Faggins, and ''it's a possibility'' he could sign, agent Robb Nelson said. The Titans and the Browns are also in the mix.

The Titans I could see as a tempting landing spot for a player... but Cleveland?

Come on Faggins, Miami is clearly your best choice.

1) Florida weather

2) No state income tax

3) See two

4) Great coaching staff (see what happened to Andre Goodman under this staff? He became awesome.)

5) Our front office has experience with guys named Demarcus.

I think it depends on how badly Faggins wants a chance to start, if the money is close. Tennessee has two good starting corners in Cortland Finnegan and Nick Harper. With us, he would be in more or less an open competition with Green and J Allen to be a starter.

If I am a CB, I also look at:

1) how is that team's pass rush?

2) how good is their safety help?

I think without Haynesworth in Tennessee, opposing QB's will have more time to throw against that defense.

I think our addition of Gibril Wilson has to make CB's here a little more comfortable.

Still gotta look to draft a CB, but I like the effort. If we keep throwing them at the wall, someone's gonna stick. Glad to see this FO is trying to fix this glaring hole as well.

It's the gift that keeps on giving.

The more the merrier. We should have someone stick like you said. I still like what I have seen In Jason Allen when he's been on the field. I'm on record as saying, I think he's better in the game then in practice. If he's able to stay on the field and produce, he should only get better.

I think this offseason will work wonders for Jason Allen. This will be the first time since high school he's had two consecutive seasons at the same position. Remember in college he jumped back and forth between S and CB and we know his history here is that of a pinball player...The Trio must also see something in him since they have passed up the better FA - CBs that have been available and basically signed guys that will compete for depth. Faggins falls into the same category as Green...

I think Demarcus Faggins come to Miami. We are a young team and getting better. He will have a starting spot most likely unless he comes into camp like Ernest Wilford did last year.

Tenn. has no state income tax either.:wink2:

This is the only thing I’ve learned: There’s only us. There’s no them. Despots and authoritarians need to make a “them” to have a straw man whom you are against. If you need to make an enemy of “them,” you’ve lost the spirit of us. - Ken Burns of PBS

Yes but we are paying for it in other ways, whereas Florida not so much. :wink2:

As a nickel or dime corner he's a great guy to have. His quickness allows him to stay with guys that even Will Allen isn't quick enough for. He'll give Davone Bess fits in practice.

Bring this man back into the fold if you want some real leadership on this team.

I want nothing to do with him. I watched him alot when he was with the Texans. He was always good for a few plays deep for opposing offenses. One word to describe him, toast.

Ive been okay with every other move made by the FO but I dont want this guy on our team, hes a total liability.
