This is another news article that I found while I was looking around.

The Sun-Sentinel reports Dolphins OT Jake Long, LB Austin Spitler, TE Mickey Shuler and OG Garrett Chisolm all continued to sit out practice and rehab various injuries on Wednesday. Long and Chisolm have yet to practice this preseason.

-- Reggie Bush Will Start This Week --
    Wed Aug 17, 2011 --from FFMastermind.com
The Miami Herald reports RB Reggie Bush will make his Miami Dolphins debut (at least his preseason debut) on Friday, HC Tony Sparano confirmed. He will start and rookie Daniel Thomas will also get work with the first-team offense. Sparano said he had an idea how many touches he wants to give Bush but would not say because he wants to tell the player first. "I want him to get up a good lather," the coach added.

I am very concerned that he is sitting. We need him healthy and fast.

sparano in his press conference yesterday when he was asked about murtha, said that when jake comes back they will probably put murtha on the right side, so that must be a good sign no ?

I'm honestly kind of surprised that they plan on giving Reggie Bush a workload tonight. Given his injury history I'd personally keep him under wraps for the entire preseason.

Jake is starting to worry me too. Not the fact he hasn't been practicing, but that there has been absolutley no leaks or updates on his status, progress and timetable.

All of his injuries have been freak injuries though, IMO.

I believe they will have so many looks it doesn't really mater and they won't use the more creative looks tonight imo . It is important for Reggie to get some game time in imo.

When Jake comes back could be in 1 week , 1 month or 1 season , Tony lies like a sidewalk at times ( he needs to at times mind you ) so I am not banking on Jake being 100% anytime soon. I sure hope he is , but something doesn't seem right to me ... just a feeling I have had for a while after the first week.

Of all the pre season worries we have had Big Jake has to be #1. The one position on the OL that was set is now a big question mark. When he finally does come back, to what degree will he be able to play, will he be limited?

Why would they not start Murtha on the right side, where they SAY he will play when Jake comes back, unless it IS going to be a while. It would seem to make more sense, to ME anyway, to have at least 4 starters in the right spot for continuity's sake.

Perhaps because Murtha is the back-up LT, and LT is a more important position than RT.

There's no information he suffered any relapse or additional info, and we've had inside information that it was related to the stuff that happened last year. He played with it, and he was arguably the best LT in the league overall, and the only lapse was really the Bears game.

I hear this alot, but I'm unsure as to what makes an injury a freak injury?
