The Miami Dolphins' search for a starting cornerback now includes Eric Green. The free agent who played for Arizona last season was brought in for a visit Wednesday.

The Dolphins want to add depth to a secondary that has Will Allen and Jason Allen penciled in as starters. Green, who turns 27 this month, would likely compete with Jason Allen, a converted safety, for the starting spot vacated by André Goodman, who signed with Denver earlier this week.

i liked him coming out. very physical for size. but i dont know that he has the skill set for slot. thats probably the reason he continued to fall after losing his starting job.

No need to merge, as it's in the Jabari Greer thread. I could move those posts here if you wish.

Anyway, I saw Eric back home on Saturday, though we didn't chat. Friend of the family. He's had some injury problems going back to Virginia Tech. But the dude is tough and has always played thru them.

Both he and his wife are from here (Clewiston) and their families still live here.

Make the throwback uniforms permanent!

I would love to have Eric on the team. I graduated with him and I know he'll work his ass off. He gets beat deep every now and then but who didn't for us last year. Not that it matters but he grew up a Dolphins fan.
