Check their depth chart at dallascowboys.com and then also last night when that Mickey Spagnola was talking to him on the sidelines, he said something about it. Only Dez and Austin are ahead of him.

Yeah, it's players with less than four years of league experience are subject to waivers, so Cook wasn't. By league experience, I wonder if PS or being inactive counts.... eh...

Coleman is the name that stands out to me. He was okay with the Jets... seemed to be better than Wilson. Hood and Strickland I only recall from giving up TD's.

Last season, the Rams picked up Hood late in the season. He started 4 games and was a reserve in 3. He allowed only a 46 passer rating into his coverage and 54.2% completed. That's wicked. He wasn't in the league in 2010, but in 2009 in 256 snaps for the Titans he allowed a 53 passer rating and 50% of passes thrown at him completed.

No kidding , I only see it here , meaning dolphins related , I like to keep the twitter feed open on another place and see what breaks , my son just finished university this spring and has been in Europe working since May , one of his degrees is in communications , and he texts me things all the time that as far I know , haven't yet happened ... we talk quite a bit how things have changed and how he can utilize that . I tell him when I was his age I was waiting for the Dolphin Digest to get to me on Monday , the second Monday after the game it was about ... now basically you get to know what you want , when you want and the instant it is out there.

Drew Coleman's a solid nickel corner, actually. He's a good blitzer too.

If we signed just one of those 3 I'd prefer Coleman. If we signed two then I'd prefer Hood next.

If Pat Mac and Ryan Cook make the cowboys roster I will feel a bit better about our group.

He looked better for sure than Gary Guyton. I'd put in a waiver claim on Lemon and cut Guyton in a hearbeat. Heck Al, I'd sign you to replace Guyton even.

Good to see our castoffs going to the Cowboys for draft picks rather than the other way around. I guess Sparano and Parcells are really gone.

Yup and I love it, stockpile picks.....

I hate to say it but trade Bush.....listen the guy is in a contract year, I can only hope that Miami doesn't sink HUGE money on him, it just isn't a smart extension.....

The Lions are chomping at the bit to get a quality back in there, I believe they would give up a 2nd for him....they are so close they are like 1 or 2 guys away from competing for this thing for real....they are immature and Bush's leadership would stabilize that locker room....

The pressing need and the intangibles justifies the 2nd.....

I cant count the conditional 6th from Colts for VD until I know and see the conditions....if its # of Starts, that seems to easy to manipulate (as per NFL rules the first snap 11 defines an official start, etc - I believe). If its # of snaps thats different, but dont know the magic #.

Just saying, Colts may play some funny business to avoid giving up the conditional 6th.

I thought a conditional pick meant we definitely get a 6th, but certain conditions could make it a higher pick

Hmmmm, I dont think so....:confused2:I think it means the 6th has conditions and will only be met if those conditions are met:confused1:. The 2nd is guaranteed.

yup. I used to pay "extra" to get the Dolphin Digest on Thurs/Fri following that week's game. Sometimes I'd get it on time, sometimes I wouldn't. Living on the west coast, mail took longer. Now? Kids these days have no idea (man that makes me sound old). These young whipper snappers! I didn't notice last night but Ben Volin actually thanked me for giving him the heads up. I guess he owes me one :wink2: and I in turn owe RedPitSea one.

Without the information it could be either. ie: If he makes 75% of the snaps it becomes a 5th etc.

From the impression on HK I would be floored if any conditions would turn the "conditional 6th" into a 5th, etc. I had the impression it was a 2nd, and a conditional 6th if conditions were met. But time will tell.
