He must be an odd-man-out from the Collins signing. I'd assume he's just camp fodder unless he surprises everybody.
I liked him at Texas. Good in space, played LT I believe and maybe some OG. Wanted us to get him last year. I don't think he is more than fodder at this point but he could surprise. It's a good low risk pickup to me.
He's light in the pants and plays with little power and bad technique... a lot of the knocks on him are the same as with Douglas. That said, he may be better suited for the ZBS, which relies more on speed and athleticism. He's still sloppy though, but better than Asper, who he replaced.
