So it's either Marques Douglas or Charles Grant that gets the boot. I would think Douglas since Grant is proving to be a three-down player. EDIT: forgot about Will Allen. That could be the guy that creates space. But reports were that they probably would axe one.
Great, a week before the season opens, even better, remember "we have to get off to a fast start this year" around game #3 or so... Do you still have a link to that "game over" video? Thanks
By the way, Alen will be posting his report on former Seahawk Rob Rose since he was the GM in Seattle in our GML... no pressure Alen...
Parnell was primarily a basketball player at Ole Miss. He only played 5 football games his entire college career and I think those were at DE. Maybe he'll be a T prospect for us or maybe they are hoping for a Gates-type lightning strike.
They out their darn minds, they are seriously picking up these garbage/unproven types heading into a season where 6 of our first 7 games are against playoff teams from 09, are they high? Did someone slip them some crack or something?
I still think 2 and 2 is possible, but as the old saying guys, any injury and our guys have to be ready to step up... oh wait...
rob rose stood out early in camp apparently http://www.fieldgulls.com/2010/8/2/1601171/seahawks-august-1-practice-report The first and only no-name that really popped for me is rookie Rob Rose. Rose is tall, rangy and slim, but not so thin as to be slight. He showed good acceleration and balance in drills. The former Buckeye is battling odds to even make a roster, but from the undifferentiated mass of camp bodies, he is one that stood out. doubt he contributes much. more of a project IMO. Another Ohio State player
Jermey Parnell is a man without a position apparently. DL, OL, TE? He is big at 6'8" and under 300 lbs so who knows where we play him
Sounds like Koa Misi/Ikaika Francis SOLB insurance along with Q Moses. 4 players to fill one role, someone is not happy with what they have. Lies, damn lies, phony baloney stats, how many of the first or second yr players are starting? How many of the 5+ yrs players are in new roles?
Wait. Is Parnell in for line depth or a goal-line blocking TE convert? I really don't mind that athleticism either way.
Both of the OLmen brough in today are here to play T and possibly G... not tight end. According to the man himself, Mr... Tony Sparano...
