This is just TOO funny and too cool!
Here is the version put out by Fins Productions. There are several versions on youtube now. This has been out there for like 9 months or so. The British Royal Engineers in Afghanistan have one, a C-5 Aircrew on deployment have one, etc. I think our soldiers copy the cheerleaders by far the best, though I'm not sure that was necessarily the goal of all the other groups who have done it. The C-5 Aircrew weren't for sure. I'm curious, how do you know these soldiers are Special Forces? Do you know them personally? None of the versions of the video done by the soldiers, that I have seen, specifies they are Special Forces.
The bearded soldiers, individual "Man-Cans", MATV's with the CROWS as well as the side by sides and Kawasaki dirt bikes. Trust me, I've been to enough of these remote COP's and VSP's to know which is a regular Army unit and which is SF.
You should actually hear and feel the concussion of those 120mm mortars firing JDang. Be in your tent when they're firing a mission at "o" dark thirty and you swear to God you were just hit with a rocket...then you suddenly realize the sound was "boom" and not "crack"...you breathe a sigh of relief, lie down and go back to sleep.
Sort of like how Delta (bad asses!) in Black Hawk Down had normal hair and facial hair vs. the Rangers who are also special forces.
Sometimes there are modified grooming standards, in Afghanistan if one does not have a beard it stands out in the field.
Back when I was a wannabe gangster and gun nut I wanted Sig Sauer so bad (because everyone had glocks and I'm a contrarian).
To much time spent watching game film TDK, in fact if I were training assets, I'd show them videos and see what they noticed in it in one viewing..like the guy with the farmer tan, tells me he was new in country..
Not for certain. He may just preferred to be hot and cut down his chances of skin cancer later in life.
A lot of times, they have down time in country and will get a sun tan if they are there long enough. Another thing I noticed is there will plenty of buffed out SF operators, and there were several that one would never guess were SF based on their build, long and lanky not exactly the Stallone stereotype.
If you look on the video, you'll see connex;s that were converted into living quarters. Those are the ones grey in color. SF usually get those for individual quarters while the rest of the regular army support elements are in the Alaska tents
I appears you have been brainwashed by the Hollywood version of a SF soldier. I doubt they Army turns down any man for not being built like Stallone.
Not at all, merely pointing out to those who may view the vid's that the "stereotype" is not the reality. Some of those cats are skinny as rails
and is this a good thing ? OP even called them special forces ? special at what....pretending to be gay ?
The only other thing I can say right now, is I hope all the soldiers in the video come home alive, well, and with all their body parts intact.
OMG, nice deflection. You brought it up in response to my post, then when I ask for some explanation, you offer none. Amazing.
This is the original video that they played on the jumbotron last year, don't recall which game though...whichever one they honored the vets I loved it.
So what if every damn one of them is gay? It does not mean they cannot be good soldiers. Presuming they are not all gay, the fact that they can make the video indicates they are very secure in their masculinity.
I think they are all good pistols. To me, it comes down mostly to which one fits your hand the best. For me, it's the 1911A1.
