Well player contracts go up each year, so this makes sense.

Its also a bit misleading, since 70 mil went to retaining our own FAs instead of letting them go elsewhere.

I don't understand how every team in our division, except us, can spend boat loads of money on numerous fa signings and all we've done is resign carey, crowder, annd bell. and picked up wilson, and we're broke!!

    Grove too.

Plus you have to factor in what Ronnie and Long are costing us per year. Porter gets a hefty sum, as does Smiley.

Pennington while not expensive, isn't exactly cheap.

I'll take Carey, Crowder, and Bell over T.O. every day of the week (and twice on Sundays). I'm not envious of the FA moves of the Bills, Pats, or jets.

it just seems like every year the pats and jets (bill's this year)have unlimited money for fa's. I think the dolphins need to steal one of our rivals' accountant. lol

I could be wrong but from watching on TV those three teams seem to have quite a few more butts in the seats. Probably much easier to spend when you are selling out every week. If I'm not mistaken we rank near the very bottom for percentage of seats sold?

(A quick Google search had us right in front of Detroit for 2nd worst in the league).
