A couple of new voices talking Dolphins, from PFF. Going to give this a listen.

"Although we are capable of great acts of kindness, history teaches us that we sometimes need saving from ourselves – from our recklessness or our greed. God sent into the world a unique person – neither a philosopher nor a general, important though they are, but a Saviour, with the power to forgive... It is my prayer that on this Christmas day we might all find room in our lives for the message of the angels and for the love of God through Christ our Lord." (Christmas message, 2011)

I think Mack is overrated. He had one scary year. Now he's in his 30's coming off an injury.

We need a line. I don't trust Grier in the draft and a few of the best options on the line have gone elsewhere already. A bit frustrating.

Looks like we have about $26mm left. It takes what, $8mm to sign a draft class? Doesn’t really leave much to fix the OL. Maybe restructuring X will help. Pretty lackluster off-season for Grier again.

I don't know what it would take to get him, but I would LOVE to see him in a Dolphins uni. If he was used like Deebo, he could be a lethal offensive weapon.

ESPN's Michael DiRocco reports the Jaguars may be open to trading WR Laviska Shenault.

The Jaguars loaded up on free agent pass catchers on Monday, inking Christian Kirk, Evan Engram, and Zay Jones. Doug Pederson is the second straight Jacksonville head coach who seems less-than-enamored with Shenault, a fantasy football folk hero whose best chance at success might be elsewhere. Shenault -- a dual threat wideout -- in 2021 failed to score a touchdown on 100 targets in the horrendous Jaguars offense. He could be a useful gadget player in an offense with established pass catchers.

Not excited about Preston Williams at all, at any price. Will be disappointed if he takes a roster spot.

Really underwhelming off-season for the Dolphins. Happy with Ogbah and Gesicki for one year but other than that, we’ve added a bunch of depth and/or middle tier players to a middle tier team. Happy 9-8 again!

@TomPelissero

The #Dolphins are re-signing WR Preston Williams to a one-year deal, per source.

Why?

Preston Williams is a 5th option on any team and Devante is a 4th option at best … we still need a #1

There aren't any #1s in the free agent class so I much prefer the moves they are making as opposed to making fools out of themselves like the Jags.

Not over yet. If we ended up with Fisher at LT and Collins at RT? To add to Connor at Guard? Way better OL, and even average would be a nice improvement compared to last year.

McDaniel should know what he wants to do though, so it might involve using more of the younger players than most of us think. Also, we need the team to be ONE game better to get into the playoffs. Just having Bridgewater at #2 QB last year would have gotten us 1-2 more wins easily.

In other words; improvement can be subtle and hard to see at first.

A terrible play call, terribly executed.
