I have ncaa games on mp4. I would like to edit certain sections out eg. a particular teams' offensive drives to focus on their defense. Anyone know how I can do this? Is there a simple program I can use?
Your computer should come with a basic video editing program, either Windows Movie Maker or iMovie. However they will not be able to read the video from an mp4 file, just the audio. What you'll need to do is convert those mp4 files into avi files with a program like this: http://www.pazera-software.com/ratings.php?id=0014#user_rating This isn't top tier software, but it's free and I doubt you'd be willing to spend good money for a good video converter. From there you should be able to import the avi files into Movie Maker or iMovie (which ever you have). In the future, you should try to save your NCAA games in avi format if possible as it is usually better quality (though it takes more space, external hard drive fixes this though) and much easier to edit or just burn to disc. Hope this helps.
