Nice bro! Do you have a link to the thread by any chance? I don't recall seeing it but I'd love to read your thoughts on it.

Agreed on Ronnie being a good, not great back. :)

You're right. I've been saying it all along. Williams is the best and most explosive back on our team.

There is no better player on our offense than Ronnie Brown. Not using him the way we should should piss Ronnie Brown off. I don't know how he puts up with it.

    Canada EH!
Cause unlike most, he is a team player. It's the same very reason why i don't think he will be after top dollar when his contract is up. He will accept a fair deal.

It still has to piss him off that he us not being used the way he is supposed to. I don't know if he is a back that can carry the rock 20-25 times a game, but he have to at least see if he can.

i like him too, but let's not be silly.

Next year might be an uncapped year after all.

I think people here have deluded themselves into thinking that we still have 02 Ricky, he's still good, he just isnt at that level anymore.

Ronnie actually has a conditional 6th year in his contract if 2010 is a uncapped year which I'm sure has alot to do with resigning him.

Whatever level RW is at, he's still better than RB.

No matter, I don't see an extension in RBs future.

Ricky Williams is not better than Ronnie Brown. How anyone can think he RW is better than RB is beyond me.

I'm a big fan of Ronnie. But at some point he has to get going before we get to that 15th or 25th carry. Our passing game isn't explosive enough to build leads that would enable us to just pound away with him late in games. Nor is it explosive enough to pound it with him early and get nothing out of it and just turn on the passing game to pull us out late. He was showing explosiveness early in games in 06 before he got hurt. So I'm not sure what the problem would be now aside from lingering effects from that injury.
