Browns: Difference of opinion in Cleveland?
    The News
Romeo Crennel reiterated there is competition at every position, including quarterback, at this year's training camp, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. On the flip side, general manager Randy Savage clarified those remarks: "The reality is you don't give a guy $8 million and expect him to be in an open competition," Savage said of incumbent starter Derek Anderson. "He would have to play really poorly and Brady (Quinn) would have to play lights out (to beat him out)."

    Our View
Translation: It would make me look really bad Brady Quinn was the starter in 2008, after I just handed a boatload of money to Derek Anderson.

I think they look ridiculous whether theyre paying derek anderson 8 million to sit on the bench, or paying brady quinn whatever it is theyre payin him to sit on the bench.
