This is some crazy ----. Pssh, man, how far my beloved franchise has fallen. I mean, geez, from the Cam Cameron/Cleo Lemon days to the crazy, bug eyed, d--che days of Adam Gase, etc, to this. ..uh boy.... This one is from Tobin, who is a big Tua supporter or whatever.
Yeah it pissed me off. I guess he forget he ate his way to 245 lbs last year during a professional season and playoff run when we needed him most. Fat potato chip eating Tua was called by his teammates “ Fat as ****” and it affected his game in the field and how the scheme was called. Unacceptable and maybe someone should remind him. Cause he ain’t hiding what happened from me I can tell you that. or perhaps practice more than you do Tua cause I didn’t see your *** one time after practice working with brewer on snaps. 11 practices you didn’t stay after ONCE to work on anything for your self or with anyone else. go get a man- pedi why don’t ya
Agreed... When you asked to be paid 55 million... you need to shut the F... up and lead the team.... Whining Complaining Placing blame on others. No place for that here.
Yea Tua needs to cool his jets a bit with the snarkyness. This is what typically happens when a team with a lot of hype falls short but Tua really needs to be the biggest person in that locker room right now and deal with the criticism better. I could see things getting a lot worse after Sunday. If and probably when Buffalo wraps up the division with half a season left the rats will be jumping.
I agree.... The players will be pissed. The media will be going nuts. The fans will be pissed. It is going to turn ugly...
You called him a lazy fat Samoan for two years and now you get mad when he snips back. Give me a break.
I don't think many took it as an attack on the media. The fans are the ones sitting back on a couch eating chips. Not the media who are usually at the games.
He’s p!ssed at how the media (who are most definitely sitting on the couch no matter what the dullards here think) and tbh NFL treated him.
I never once used that term, sorry Did I see the signs of his personal issues and staying in pro shape, sure did, and we all saw what happened, sorry to be right. bottom line it’s disappointing again that when went this route especially considering he was the fat *** last year.
Tua handled himself just fine. The sports media aren't some form of royalty or clergy that are supposed to be viewed with some form of reverence or loyal devotion. A lot of times they ask ***STUPID*** questions and need to be shut down. It's not like Tua went all Ryan Leaf on them.
https://youtube.com/shorts/49CgbjuRb20?si=tY6S9ZazCOBG0e9A I suggest watching this with a bag of chips.
I’m reading a lot of analytics that are trying to defend what we’ve seen from this team this year. I’m not sure those analytics are accounting for a coaches ability to get a team emotionally, physically and mentally prepared to play the game. It looks like after time it becomes harder to get your team to focus as a whole. if the coach does not have the capacity to do so then he loses the team to the day to day distractions a football team faces. Aka they lose the focus and drive it takes to accomplish a goal in this league. So for me it kind of looks like we’re on the cusp of that, we’ll see on Sunday but if we’re not competitive It might mean the coach has lost the team and we’re seeing all the negative derivatives that stem from that.
Of course he was directing it at the fans. That should be obvious. However, he was on a national platform, so in that sense, yeah, it's at the media too and anyone else listening. Everyone from fans, to all the sport media outlets were talking about it, so...but either way, it was just dumb and lacked character. Whatever, imo, just more smoke from the fire.
Well if you didn't mean it literally, then why post it? Like that was my point. DJ rightly pointed out that Tua was a fat ***, and he rightly pointed it that it was detrimental to his play, and he rightly pointed out that the team wouldn't want him that big. He also has said that being Samoan, Tua genetically is disposed to being thick. It's he wrong?
I watched the clip again. It was 100% directed at the guy asking the question. I'm not seeing this directed at the fans whatsoever.
Tua was probably also pissed because his biggest applause in that game was when he slid. The stadium erupted. That was kind of sad.
That has absolutely nothing to do with Tua's exchange. You're right though that it got the biggest applause of the game. Tua took off and ran getting a clutch first down. He did the smart thing and slid. Why is any of that sad? And BTW I was at the game and when Tua came out of the tunnel the applause was even louder than when he slid. Do you think that was sad as well?
Wait wait wait, how am I deflecting? This journalist was being snarky with Tua. Tua got salty and busted his balls. You don’t seem to care for Tua’s conduct. Fine, so be it but for you to interject a “yea but” by asking “media aside what would I call it” and all I do is keep the discussion ON TOPIC, I’m deflecting???? In what universe is that a deflection? Newsflash, Tua didn’t pull himself off of a cross and come down to earth to play football. Tua CAN do wrong and Tua DOES do wrong but unlike those who are so adamantly opposed to Tua, I KNOW this game well enough to know there are 52 other players on the team…TEAM, half of them on the opposing side of the ball whose sole responsibility is to PREVENT the other team from scoring any points, and THOSE players FAILED in their multimillion dollar paid task. But of course, it’s all ONE man’s fault, so by all means, keep piling on Tua and when this HUMAN BEING gets annoyed with ignorant questions and attitude, continue piling on the ONE man for not just submissively bending over and taking it.
I asked you a simple question that you didn’t answer. I‘m not saying it’s all Tuas fault and I don’t blame him for everything but he could‘ve handled that a lot better then he did and his answer was just plain dumb and defensive. Like I stated I like salty Tua but that was just plain dumb.
hmmm.....yeah. Shhh. Dude, don't worry, this is just reverse psychology. Tua is going to come out today and throw for something like 400 yards and 4tds. Don't you know that?
You’re right, I didn’t answer that question as it was a deflection and completely irrelevant. I’ve read the posts in this thread. There are those who know who Tua’s salty remarks were directed to and there are those who feel Tua’s remarks were directed to fans. If you’re in the camp of the former, you don’t have a problem with Tua’s conduct. If you’re in the camp of the latter, you feel insulted and think it was dumb. I’m in the camp of the former and have no issue with a man shutting down another man for being a sanctimonious a$$.
