I didn't see a thread for this. Anyone play this? I really liked Dead Rising. I'm contemplating picking it up. Thoughts?
i couldn't get into part 1. I played the downloadable prequel to this and it was ok. I will prolly pass. But I'm the weird guy that doesnt get the whole zombie craze. I've never played either left4dead for more than 10-15 minutes.
Left 4 Dead is great fun - on Steam. But, it's a different kind of crowd there. Mostly legit players, almost zero tykes. My son plays it on XBL, and it's TERRIBLE. Nothing but 12 year olds effing around and cheating - just like every other game on XBL. I couldn't play for 10-15 minutes, either. You want to play a multiplayer FPS online? Do it where people are legit - XBL is the got damn toilet.
Xbox live has more cheaters than the PC? Come on man... But yeah, too many 12 year olds on XBL. L4D1 was great. L4D2 looked great, but I got caught up in MW2. As for DR2, I watched some youtube gameplay and it looks terribly boring. Weapons break way too quickly, and the game is very redundant.
It gets stale pretty damn fast. Especially saving survivors. Having a time limit, gathering Zombrex, Weapon durability = LAME sorry but I couldn't play it without having a trainer.
Guaranteed. Steam has VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat) secured servers, and I've yet to see a cheater on an official server. Now, if you're stupid, and choose to play on some joker's non-official server, you'll get what you find on XBL.
