Here are some of the players we will consider over the course of the day with some minor commentary by me. If the links dont work I apologize

    Charles Godfrey 2nd http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/cb/charlesgodfrey.html 8.0
    Mario Manningham 2nd http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/wr/mariomanningham.html 8.0
    Roy Schuening 2nd http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/og/royschuening.html 7.5
    Justin King 2nd http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/cb/justinking.html 7.5
    Reggie Smith 2nd http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/profile.php?pyid=57258 7.5

    Jeremy Thompson 3rd http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/de/jeremythompson.html 7.5
    Kendall Langford 3rd http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/de/kendalllangford.html 7.5
    DaJuan Morgan 3rd http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/s/dajuanmorgan.html 7.5
    Oniel Cousins 3rd http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/ot/onielcousins.html 7.0
    John Greco 3rd http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/og/johngreco.html 7.0
    Brad Cottam 3rd http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/te/bradcottam.html 7.0
    Erin Henderson 3rd http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/olb/erinhenderson.html 7.0

The best two players left on the board that fill needs are CB Charles Godfrey and WR Mario Manningham. Godfrey can cover and supports the run strongly. A perfect Parcells cornerback. Manningham would give us a playmaker in the mold of Ocho Cinco but unfortunately might come with the same baggage.

Red Bryant, Jeremy Thompson, Kendall Langford and Dajuan Morgan are others that Parcells might consider on defense while Oniel Cousins, Carl Nicks, John Greco and Brad Cottam are the best bets for offensive possibilities. Red Bryant is a prototypical NT although with Feerguson and Soliai on the roster may be a luxury we don’t need at this time. Jeremy Thompson and Kendall Langford are great OLB prospects but with the acquisition of Merling we may not need either. If we dump Jason Taylor look for Thompson to be a possibility here. He’s interviewed with the Dolphins brass and is another force against the run. Dajuan Morgan is the best safety in the draft in my opinion and I am a bit surprised that Phillips and Johnson went before him. Cousins could be a future Left Tackle and would have been my choice here if we had gone Ryan with our first. Since we have Jake Long he seems to be another luxury pick here. Brad Cottam is probably off the board since we picked up Fasano

Look for Godfrey to be the pick with Manningham a close second as a possibility. If Manningham is the pick we will go CB with our 4th.

    Martin Rucker 4th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/te/martinrucker.html 8.0
    Marcus Harrison 4th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/dt/marcusharrison.html 7.5
    Kellen Davis 4th (DE/OLB) http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/te/kellendavis.html 7.5
    Jermichael Finley 4th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/te/jermichaelfinley.html 7.5
    Bryan Kehl 4th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/olb/bryankehl.html 7.0
    Beau Bell 4th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/olb/beaubell.html 7.0
    Josh Barrett 4th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/s/joshbarrett.html 7.0
    Jeremy Zuttah 4th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/og/jeremyzuttah.html 7.0
    Tyvon Branch 4th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/cb/tyvonbranch.html 7.0
    Thomas DeCoud 4th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/s/thomasdecoud.html 7.0
    Bruce Davis 4th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/olb/brucedavis.html 6.5
    Donald Thomas 4th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/og/donaldthomas.html 6.5
    Josh Johnson 4th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/qb/joshjohnson.html 6.0

From this group I would look at Rucker, Harrison, Davis, Kehl, Zuttah, Branch and Davis as possibilities with the possibility that someone from the previous grouping slips down. Harrison is probably the favorite here but there is a good chance that he’s gone by the time we pick. He’s a beast of a DT and could be a solid DE in our defense. Kehl would be a nice addition as an inside linebacker. Zuttah probably makes the most sense here as our final building block to our offensive line as he could play our remaining guard. If we go Manningham look for us to target Branch.

So the feeling here is that the pick will be Zuttah with Branch a second choice if we pass on Godfrey

    Craig Stevens 5th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/te/craigstevens.html 7.5
    Jacob Tamme 5th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/te/jacobtamme.html 7.5
    Brian Johnston 5th http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/profile.php?pyid=68159 7.0
    Trae Williams 5th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/cb/traewilliams.html 7.0
    Jack Williams 5th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/cb/jackwilliams.html 7.0
    Dejuan Tribble 5th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/cb/dejuantribble.html 7.0
    Harry Douglas 5th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/wr/harrydouglas.html 7.0
    Ezra Butler 5th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/olb/ezrabutler.html 6.5

Craig Stevens is the pontifical Tight End for Parcells but we would need a 5th rounder to get him. Currently we don’t have any

    Steve Johnson 6th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/wr/stevejohnson.html 8.0
    Adrian Arrington 6th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/wr/adrianarrington.html 8.0
    Macky Bernadeau 6th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/og/mackenzybernadeau.html 7.5
    Fernando Velasco 6th http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/profile.php?pyid=10692 7.5
    Zachary Bowman 6th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/cb/zackbowman.html 7.5
    Andrew Crumney 6th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/og/andrewcrummey.html 7.0
    Will Robinson 6th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/ot/williamrobinson.html 7.0
    Steve Octavien 6th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/olb/steveoctavien.html 7.0
    Nick Hayden 6th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/dt/nickhayden.html 7.0
    Lionel Dotson 6th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/dt/lioneldotson.html 7.0
    Cory Boyd 6th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/rb/coryboyd.html 7.0
    Marcus Smith 6th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/wr/marcussmith.html 7.0
    Kevin Robinson 6th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/wr/kevinrobinson.html 7.0
    Tom Santi 6th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/te/tomsanti.html 7.0
    Jack Ikegwuonu 6th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/cb/jackikegwuonu.html 7.0
    Gary Guyton 6th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/olb/garyguyton.html 6.5
    Keileen Dykes 6th http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/profile.php?pyid=9650 6.5
    Chris McDuffie 6th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/og/chrismcduffie.html 6.5
    Shawn Murphy 6th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/og/shawnmurphy.html 6.5
    Bernard Morris 6TH http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/profile.php?pyid=11286 6.0
    Curtis Johnson 6th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/olb/curtisjohnson.html 6.0
    Jameel McClain 6th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/ilb/jameelmcclain.html 6.0
    Frank Okam 6th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/dt/frankokam.html 6.0

Take anyone with a grade of 7.0 or higher and he’s a possibility here. They are all solid picks and there are quite a few available. My personal favorites are WRs Steve Johnson and Adrian Arrington along with Offensive Guards Mackenzie Bernadeau and Velasco. DB Zachary Bowman would be a steal here and LB Steve Octavian would be a gamble on a 2nd round talent with an injury history

    Adam Bishop 7th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/te/adambishop.html 7.0
    Carl Stewart 7th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/fb/carlstewart.html 7.0
    Jerome Felton 7th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/fb/jeromefelton.html 7.0
    Ben JarvisGreenEllis7th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/rb/benjarvusgreenellis.html 7.0
    Anthony Aldridge 7th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/rb/anthonyalridge.html 7.0
    ChauncyWashington7th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/rb/chaunceywashington.html6.5
    Peyton Hillis 7th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/fb/peytonhillis.html 6.5
    Tyler Polumbus 7th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/ot/tylerpolumbus.html 6.5
    Chad Rhinehart 7th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/og/chadrinehart.html 6.5
    Justin Tryon 7th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/cb/justintryon.html 6.5
    Marcus Dixon 7th http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/de/marcusdixon.html 6.0
FB, RB, TE or WR take your pick Parcells. My personal favorites are Fullbacks Jerome Felton and Peyton Hillis, Tight End Adam Bishop, Running back Chauncey Washington, Offensive Guard Chad Rhinehart and converted RB turned WR Anthony Aldridge

Doggett should be our main priority in free agency. A former LB he’s been converted to SS and is a stone cold killer against the run. Anyone with a 7.0 or higher should be our target. DB Anthony Moss is another one to look out for

Geez Louise Prez thats some impressive work there sir. Thanks great read. I personally hope someone has a hard on for Conner and gives us a couple picks to start day two. I really like Doucet. No love for him?

I see Doucet as a possession receiver so he would be overkill with Wilford on board. If we go receiver I would look for a playmaker like Manningham or a slot receiver type. I think trade down would be the best option here.

Langford was a very good pickup for us in round three. Had him in the group we would consider even though I thought w would go a different position. Lol man we are getting big on defense
