Day 7 Camp Notes

IMO, I think you are making a little too much of that statement. Being close to your ceiling in no way always means there isn't room for significant improvement and refinement, or mean the athlete is even close to his "peak" for that matter. As an athlete, if you can get to the professional level close to 95 percent of what you envision your peak level being, your in damn good shape. Developing that last 5% is often the hardest task, but also the most noticeable

In the case with Dion, why are we surprised by that statement? Because he didn't rack up 10+ sacks as a senior? Not trying to pick a fight by an means, just think we may be jumping the gun a bit.

Um meaning what? Jordan has a learning disability and can't learn new pass rush moves? He's not athletic enough to beat NFL tackles? Or he just isn't a hard enough worker to get better?

Pocket collapsed on Tannehill. Odrick and Vernon drop pocket in. Tannehill scrambles away but he would have been sacked in live action.

Odrick's been a beast all training camp, I hope it continues through pre-season and into the regular season.

Or, could simply be his way of saying Jordan is NFL ready coming out of college.

IMO, Jordan will an Elite level passrusher and defender in 2 yrs, a sort of do it all player who can dominate series.

Binns sounds like he is dinged in the knee, so perhaps the door cracks open for McNutt who is making the right kind of noise, as is Samudha

I wish CK woulda gotten that quote to Ireland before the draft!!! What a wasted pick, coulda had two twos, now we got a DE that's peaked already.

Hmm..Pouncey to LG..Richie to RG, seems like I banged that drum a couple of years ago and was shot down.

Only question is whether Samudha could fill in at C and get to the second level approximately as well as Pouncey, or perhaps D Thomas wins the LG job, either way Richie I has always seemed like a RG to me.

This straddles the line between good parody and bad reality

Seems that the collective hopinion has been down on Jerry since he got in Miami, and its good, IMO, that this has happened "now" since the team can evaluate the young guys who appear to be taking advantage of the opportunity. We hear of a couple of plays in a certain Line-up, but the coaches have the tape to review of the whole practice.

Player a few of us been talking about, He was dominant in college in division 2 level, his center of gravity is really solid and stout, he's explosive and strong in short areas, shows quickness out of his stance, and is very aggressive when engagement, fun to watch..until we have some pro reps to look at it's difficult to project but his college highlights (YouTube only) show flashes of a fast twitch big man athlete in a more compact style of Olineman..body is interesting.

If samuda can hold down center then I think it would be a great thing to have pouncey out next to Martin
