Did the Knicks just win a game because of their defense!!!!??? Wow great 4th qtr defense by NY to supplement a pretty avg offensive game. 2 big road games on the way we need to get one of them.
Defense: Holding the bulls to 12 4th quarter points, blocking 10 shots, and forcing 21 turnovers on a day that the offense was a bit slower and less efficient then usual. NYK still have work to do (like getting melo and a big who can rebound/shoot) but damn ill take this over being 7-23 every year at this time for the last few years.
The Bulls are offensively challenged when you close the lane on them. They have ONE shooter, and they run ISO for Booz all game long while playing a 1-4 offense. They are rather easy to defend. Once they lose their rebounding edge, they are pedestrian. The Heat is going to put some epic beatdowns on Chicago this year because of it. I think when "defense" happens on D'Antoni's watch..it is almost accidental. I think Igoudala is a better fit for NY, the more I think of it.
