You just pulled out the biggest strawman in the history of strawmen. He pulled out two of the greatest RBs in history to show that Miller's size will not hinder him from carrying 20 times a game. Nothing more, nothing less. Your criticism of Miller is now shown in a new light. You cannot look at him objectively for whatever reason.
100% this. I was merely stating that his size shouldn't dictate the amount of touches he's able to handle.
I understand everyone's frustration with every back on our roster. But if when the back approaches the line of scrimmage there are three or four tacklers on his side of it and no one wearing our jerseys between him and the tacklers, what do you expect him to do?
Wasn't there a stat a couple weeks ago where we ran for 18 yards, and 16 of them were after contact? Lol
Miller isn't physical enough honestly. He doesn't create space for himself at all with this speed we hear about. Call it whatever you think you need to but we've all watched it. Have we seen a big game from him. No. I doubt he is that NFL one cutter that makes a move and gets there consistently or if ever. Maybe Miller is the back we keep to spell the next guy. Hope not.
Miller is playing poorly, he's trying to out juke his defender even if the defender doesn't need juking, he's also uncoordinated in the open field..
That's because we don't give him the ball. I count 6 games where he is at, or above 5 ypc. Yes this could change with more carries but he ran for 105 yards against Cincy. Against NE 89 yards, 4.9 ypc. These are good numbers. Like most RBs he needs holes to be created to run through.
Not I. While most people believed his plays resulted in losses more often then wins, I pointed out he was top 10 in success rate in the league last year. People continue to ignore that stat and perpetuate this myth that Reggie was below average in taking what was given.
Explain to me again how in the hell you let your best player on offense and a leader walk away? Big mistake.
