Dan Henning lately of the Carolina Panthers has been named as the Dolphins Offensive Co-Ordinater. Henning has a been a OC in the NFL for 28 yrs, and surprisingly had a stint with the Dolphins in the late 70's and early 80's as Wr coach before moving on to Washington. I think this is a great hire for the Dolphins, when Henning was first hired in Carolina the Panthers, like the Dolphins, were coming off of a 1-15 season and in need of a Quarterback. Henning managed to take a little known Jake Delhomme and develop him into a pro bowl Quarterback, along with Steve Smith and Deshaun Foster, Henning literally built the Panthers offense up from scratch. He also has taken scrap heap Quarterbacks like Mark Rypen and Doug Williams and won Super Bowls with them while running the H-Back offense. Great hire for us, if he can improve Delhomme and Doug Williams , John Beck should improve greatly under his tutelage.
