    I just received a text message from Miamidolphins.com saying Dan Carpenter was named to the Pro Bowl replacing Chargers K Nate Kaeding.

    huh, good for carpenter. The guys been pretty consistent for us for two years now and im glad hes getting some recognition.

    Perhaps he is, and I have loved Car-Painter since he first signed with us, but Roger Goodell has to be disappointed with what's going on..
    The @ro-Bowl is quicly turning into a farse...
    Of course, as long as his pockets are getting padded, I honestly don't think he cares.
    Tell me, what exactly is the Pro-Bowl?
    To me, its a reward for those deserving to take their families on a paradise vacation and share said vacation with players they usually only see through a facemask.
    Goodell has taken that away only for the sake of revenue. Heo once again falls way short on this very stooooopid decision. Perhaps this is right up there with the way he handled spy-gate. :shifty:

    I glad for Carpenter, but AZ, you're right, this is turning into a first class farce...This move has certainly back-fired on the NFL...they should be ashamed of themselves...If they want to change things up, have the game in London, Paris, Greece, Italy...that would be something that the players might enjoy...but Miami, where they would more than likely end up at some point in their careers at least being here for a game or so if not more ?? The exclusivity of Hawaii made it the perfect place for the pro bowl...Ahh well, tinkering sometimes really screws things up...all this on the eve of the CBA negotiations too...
