Well, I think that you missed some of his "bend the arc" sacks if you only found one, because it took me 20 seconds to find two, 1:33 and 2:03 of this clip:

We're going to have to agree to disagree, because think that Moore shows plenty of flexibility and agility when turning the corner, we just see it differently. I don't see him rounding off his angle/arc of pursuit as you mention- to me that's a much bigger concern as per Jordan As to him against the run, he looks better in pursuit than being physical at the LOS, so that concerns me and something I'll watch out for as well.

Moore played OLB at Texas A&M and took over the Joker role from Von Miller. The point being, I can see him at both DE and OLB, and if he was to be rotated in at DE that would be fine with me- maybe the biggest weakness on our defense is the lack of a dynamic pass rush, so if Moore can help solve that problem I would consider that a draft pick well spent. You also have to factor in Wake's age imo and the eventual need for a replacement. As to Moore being a slender 250 lbs, I just don't see it. He has a thick bubble and good sized shoulders and arms as well, he's pretty sturdy. The main question in my mind as per Moore is, would he be the best choice at #12 if you could pick up, say, Corey Lemonier in the 2nd rd? I don't know, and I'm a fan of both players. But as I said before, as things stand now I'd be happy with Moore or Jordan at #12 and I'd also be happy if we got Lemonier a bit later in the draft.

ps I did see Ansah do a good job of turning the corner here at :22

I think Todd clearly missed a successful outside rush sack against Arkansas, but the other sack pointed out from 2:03 in that video is the one sack that Todd highlighted from his Bama, LSU, UF, Arkansas, Miss St and La Tech games.

I posted both of those, and the Arkansas one is a pressure, not a sack.

If you see it differently then why does he round off his pursuit and have less success applying pressure around the corner?

Taking over the Joker role when Miller left doesn't mean he can do so effectively in the NFL, and I don't see anything that would lead me to believe that. Ansah looks better in space than Moore does.
Ansah does a great job at a lot of things and IMO he's head and shoulders above Moore as a prospect.

Not even close, but we each have our own opinion and that's what makes the world go around. Especially after just looking at more film of Tank Carradine, I would take him in the 2nd round over Ansah if both were available, despite the ACL injury. Give him an NFL red shirt year and then let him rip it up in 2014. There's just more pass rush there, it's that simple.

As to the joker role and who looks better in space- Ansah definitely has athletic ability, and if I didn't expect so much I wouldn;t have been let down quite so much. He's a strider, and I'd much rather have Moore in space than Ansah. Ansah just doesn;t have quick feet.

ps Maybe you can get a response out of Mel Kiper as to what you see as Damontre Moore's pass rush deficiencies, as he has him rated #2 overall and regards him as excellent as per a pass rusher and specifically turning the corner and that bend that I mentioned previoulsy. Seriously, maybe he'll bite and respond if you email and ask him why he's so off base when it comes to Damontre Moore and his pass rush abilities. It doesn't mean that Kiper is necessarily right, of course, but I'd be curious as to what he said.

"Glad he's in the draft, as he needs to take advantage of a great season. He's an athlete, but the production really jumps out. Consistent performer. Adjusted well to playing as a defensive end in a 4-3 scheme. Excels as a pass-rusher, able to dip hips, turn the corner and use quickness and length to bother tackles."

The Arkansas one [linked below] was a pressure, unless I missed a sack somewhere, but I watched the clip twice and didn't see one, and the zero sacks match Moore's game log at Sports-Reverence.com. FYI: for some reason the timestamp didn't work on the first few clips I listed (which I just corrected), and trying to timestamp using the "Insert Video" link wouldn't work at all. Am I'm doing something wrong?

Added: the above pressure came from Moore lining up at 9 technique, which in his case seems like an aid b/c it softens his arc to the QB, allowing him to not face a sharper angle. 2 of his 4 sacks/pressures came via lining up wide, meaning that approximately only 2 came from running a traditional arc, which I find bothersome.
