As I've said, aside from the fact that he's the Jets head coach and he doesn't credit the opponent sometimes, I actually like the guy and think he's great for the rivalry. I root against him like nobody's business. But he and Crowder were made for each other IMO. Check these photos out. Miss Crowder balling up that fist. http://miamiherald.typepad.com/roll...nches-rex-ryan-in-the-face-ok-not-really.html
I think Rex Ryan does plenty good and can see why players would love to play for him, but there is also a lot to hate about him. He easily pisses off the opponents by not giving credit and making excuses. He's far too arrogant when it comes to his team to the point it becomes extra motivation for the opponent. Funny pictures though.
Rex Ryan is a fat idiot. The best part, hew is destined for failure with the Jests. Its almost comedic WWF. You know in the end, the big fat A-hole is gonna lose, and look like an idiot in defeat
How close do you all think he was to being the Dolphins choice? I am willing to guess that if not Sparano, it would have been Ryan. I wonder if the sentiment would still be the same.
Honestly, I don't have too much trouble with that guy. I find him rather amusing for the most part. But he needs to learn how to shut off the trash talking after he gets beat and pass out at least an obligatory compliment.
The funny thing is that Crowder is arguably our worst starter. I don't see Rexy starting beef with Ronnie or Jake. Rex is a softy at heart, thats why he cried when his Jets were blowing their season into the ****ter, and he lost all faith in them. If Sparano started beef with Ryan, Rex wouldn't have anything to say. Because 0-2 is a trump card.
I honestly really like Rex Ryan. Pretty funny guy. He's a little immature sometimes, but his players go to absolute war for him. And he brings the #1 defense where he goes. Can't ask for anything else out of a coach.
He's a sore loser with a good sense of humor. We've seen the team play pretty hard for Sparano and he doesn't even have to run his mouth nonstop or be a big jackass to everyone else. The Jets lucked into the postseason and they're suddenly the favorites for everything. Nevermind they haven't won the division in eight years. Nevermind they stunk in the division. They are now going to be the favorites for the East. Forget that these players 'going to war' couldn't muster up a win against a struggling Falcons team when they all believed they were facing postseason elimination. That whole entire organization is now overrated from the top down.
That's my issue with him, too. I can handle a little back-and-forth jabber. It makes the rivalry even more emotional. Usually, head coaches have more class and don't get involved in the trash talk, but... whatever... I guess he's some sort of 'pioneer' who's lowering the bar for future head coaches. However, I will say that about 5% of what comes out of his mouth is just plain disrespectful and embarrassing. There's trash talk, and then there's insulting your opponent. Ryan crossed that line more than once, IMHO. So, I'm not buying his whole 'aw-shucks-I'm-just-a-lovable-chubby-guy' act. As far as I'm concerned, the guy is a genuine childish prick. I'm very glad we have a head coach that conducts himself with class, and Jets fans have a head coach that stoops to their level.
what's the message those pics (with Ryan's arm around Crowder's mom) send to Crowder? Ryan: Hey Channing, look what I got! now all we need is to see Channing with his arm around Rex's mom... (hoping she's still alive of course)... [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oM9u4_5hZXI"]YouTube- Justin Timberlake - Mother Lover (feat. Andy Samberg) Saturday Night Live BEST QUALITY DIRTY[/ame]
After all of the Wildcat bashing, and then being a total hypocrite by using it, I would love to have a run in with that fat man as well. This thread was calling for me to post in it...see below...
Channing Crowder and his Mom are both sellouts, Rex Ryan is the sad clown nobody pays attention to...Pauline and Crowder and go freaking to the Jets....
Eh...IMO you're over the top. Hating someone simply because they're affiliated with a rival? When you do that you're removing their humanness from the equation. Dan Marino and Jim Kelly are/were actually really good friends. Nonetheless, you get credit for the "Sopranos" reference.
As the animal person of this board, I find it disgusting that in all of those photos, no one is trying to push him back into the water. Alas, no one knows why they beach themselves...
I'm not over the top...I'm a Jets hating Dolphins fan.....there the Dolphins then there is the Jets, that's it, there isn't any mingling, Bill Belichic came to my work, because a lawyer I work with was his college roommate, and I walked out, while everybody else was glowing and melting...I dont or wouldn't chill or have photo op's with those people, thats being a sell out...if you want to call me a sports bigot, I welcome it bro...I hate them with a burning passion....I still get pissed everytime I see Pete Carroll's face, because I think of him blasting the choke sign at us...There is no humanness when it comes to them, or the Pats.... Jim Kelly was a class act, and crushed us in the playoff games like I crush beer on a weekend, but I respect Jim Kelly cause he is class....Rex Ryan is an ***, always was always will be, the whole family is.......I can't wait until they play them again, so the worst number 1 WR in the game can burn them yet again, the Dolphins take 2 again, and Rex Ryan talks yet again...I would jaw jack that guy on sight, but he would probably sue me...
