I like the three Es at tight end. I also like Austin. However, I am looking at Williams and Bailey at wr. No earth shattering speed, but good use of speed and route running. The kid from Clemson is in that category as well. If Miami can not trade down I am not sure they get Eifert because I don't expect him to go at 12. I like the King kid from Georgia at wr as a sleeper. He ran sub 4.5 and was the go to guy when Georgia had two of their best guys go down. If Miami can not trade out of 12, I think you go best available player who is not a qb, rb, or lb. Cb, de, dt, ol, and wr. Patterson has it all by measure. I think he likely will not make it out of the top 10 now that his 40 is posted.

Another sleeper who is actually in the top 5 for Mayock at wr is Patton from Louisana Tech. I have watched this guy and he is as good as some of the previously mentioned guys. This is going to be an interesting draft from the offensive skill position.

A very athletic group of offensive linemen. I am guessing that OL may be the position if wrs, tes, and cbs are not had at 12. Anyone care to guess what qb might be drafted later if Miami seeks a backup in the draft given Moore's uncertain future with the team?

Kid from Clemson = DeAndre Hopkins
Kid from Georgia = Tavarres King

I agree on Williams and Bailey. Bailey gets a lot of coverage around here and he'd be a fine fit but Williams has productivity on his side. I wouldnt be upset with Williams at 12 and Bailey at 2B.

How do you feel about tight end and offensive line at 12? I think too high for tight end, but there is talent at OL. If you got Williams and Bailey in this draft you would have some serious support, and I am guessing you wouldn't have Hartline, and would you need any one of the big three wrs?

Way to high to take Terrance Williams at 12. That's like a full round too high.

As I watch the wrs right now I am liking the Vernon kid from Duke as a possible middle round pick. He just seems like a Philbin kind of kid.

You are hitting on the biggest issue for Miami this year. Value at the pick you have and meeting your specific skill position needs. Eifert too high at 12, but not around in 2nd. Williams is likely gone before Miami picks in 2nd. The best value for Miami at 12 is probably OL.

Eifert is far more deserving of 12 than Williams.

If it is an OL guy at 12 I like Lane Johnson, but I don't think he makes it to 12. I agree that Eifert is better than Williams or Allen. Not sure what I think about Patterson.

Too high for Eifert at 12. I like him if we move down 8-10 spots. If i got Bailey and Williams Im still signing Wallace.

IMO as impressive for Tavon Austin with his 4.25 40 is his 14 reps with 225 at 174 lbs. Thats very solid.

How so? Size-speed-production-character all solid. Maybe you'd ideally want to move down 5-7 slots and I wouldnt argue but for me hes a very safe pick with good upside. I like him as much as Patterson. If you think youre getting him in round 2...well Id be very surprised.

I agree. I sign Wallace and still go get Bailey and Williams. And I want to get an OG, CB, and tight end.

Sign Wallace, Keller (or Finley), and Kruger in FA. Then draft....(you might trade down a bit if you take Terrence Williams in round 1 but Im ok if we dont so i didnt factor that in)
    1. Williams or Patterson WR
    2A. Trufant CB
    2B. Bailey WR
    3A. Poyer CB
3B. D.J. Swearinger (CB/FS...Id use him at FS)
    4. William Gholston DE
    5. Omoregie Uzzi G
7A. Lattimore RB (hoping he really falls because I want him for the Phins)
7B. BPA (maybe someone like a Tyrann Matheiu if hes around)

I like Lattimore and to get him on the cheap would be great. I really like the Vernon kid from Duke, and wouldn't mind him if Dolphins only draft one wr early.

dee milliner or kenny vaccaro in the 1st would be my dream but seeing how both of them will be gone I say DE or trade down to 20's and take a WR.

If were going to go OL at 12. You go Warmack. Bulk up Martin and put him at LT. Sign one of the half billion excellent RT's in free agency and make John Jerry puke his way to 315lbs or find a RG challenger in the mid rounds.

Martin/Warmack/Pouncey/Jerry + mid round draft pick/Cherilus or Loadholt? Yes please!

Jerry puke his way to 315 lol! I like Warmack. I think he is probably the best player in the draft and that is saying a lot.

And as long as Miami signs a TE,WR and a CB in FA.....the fan base won't lynch em for going OL in round 1. Then you can look at the WR's/DE's/DB's/LB's (start finding a replacement for either Dansby or Burnett's large contracts for next year) in rounds 2-3.

After watching Robert woods today at the combine, I want this guy. Incredible natural hands and pass catching ability. Not a burner by any stretch but awesome all around.

This year's draft has more depth at wr than last year. Just not many first rounders. But a lot of depth. Woods, Hopkins, Bailey, Williams, and Patton to name a few.
