Cowboys unwilling to part with Carpenter in trade with Miami

    And I think that Allen will not see the field enough to justify keeping him, if we played him fast forward, he would do okay, we won't, so the fear of blown coverages will relegate him to the bench, and I would trade a bench player for a starter who is similar in age and can step right into our system and play.

    But I don't know what is up with Williams he went from P-Bowl to liability in two years.

    so he couldnt crack the lineup and ayodele did. so why do some want carpenter over him? youth is probably going to be the answer, but he wouldnt be the long term solution anyway with guys like laurinitis and maleluga coming out next year

    Because Carpenter can be better than Ayodele. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that the remaining coaching staff intervened to prevent Carpenter being traded.

    You presume we'll draft one of those two in the first place. I'm not quite sold on that notion.
