Hmm. I wonder who would be interested in Gonzo. Perhaps a team like Buffalo, Seattle, Minnesota, or even.....the Giants.

 

Im still shocked why KC wouldn't go after a FA QB. They have nothing

 

maybe they're waiting to draft one high this year.

 

i could see seattle and minnesota, and buffalo. but i don't think the giants would go after him. they didn't need shockey, they aren't going to change a thing until they stop being so successful

 

i hope the giants trade for gonzo. i have been hearing the siants picks for gonzo, so basically shockey for gonzo is a good trade. im totally being selfish here cuz i have gonzo on my FFB.

 

The Giants make a ton of sense. Gonzalez does everything Shockey does/did minus the complaining. Hes an awesome blocker, no question about his hands, and hes played plenty of big cold weather games. Kevin Boss is a nice young player but he was a 6th round pick. If you can upgrade the position and the price is reasonable (which is always a question with Carl peterson), the Giants would be crazy not to take the chance.

They got a 2nd for Shockey so if they gave a 3rd for Gonzalez they still come out ahead. If they really wanted the extra pick that bad they can always trade down from one of their 2nds and probably pick up a 4th.
