Could we get a #1 pick for JT

Roman529New MemberOPI love Jason Taylor, and he has given it all here, even with a bum foot and other injuries. I just doubt JT would want to stick around and "rebuild" with the Tuna. JT has maybe 3-4 years left, and I think he would be anxious to move on to a team that can contend for a SB within the next couple years.
Here in Colorado, the Broncos have had all kinds of defensive problems, and haven't been able to get much pressure on the opposing QB's. I think Shanihan would be open to maybe parting with their first for JT. If not, there are other teams that are probably only a player away from being a legit SB contender...The Steelers, Cleveland, Minny, Tampa Bay. I think it would be a win/win for the Phins and JT to part company at this time, even though it would be hard seeing # 99 in a different uniform. BUT sometimes you have to do what is best for the team.

Yes. Drafting is a total gamble. JT is a proven pro bowl player, known for picking up fumbles and running them back for touchdowns. He’s a great player. Give him a contender and he will play like Seau for a few more years. Come on- somebody give us a first and a third for JT!!!!
adamprez2003forum_veteranMaybe a late 1st rounder to a playoff team that needs a pass rusherr to compete for the SB. I would make that trade since he'll be 35 by the time we can conmpete for the playoffs

Just DON'T trade him or any other to the Pats, They have enough of our guys as it is..chuckling.
