"Hellooooo, welcome to Action News! I am lead anchor Ron Burgundy!!"But..you know who I am...everyone...knows who I am." "Lets get right to sports...hey sue me its a slow news day, take it away, Champ!" "Thanks Ron....I sure do miss the office...can I come back..soon?" Anyways here's some footage from the press conferance the crappy....SCRAPPY Rams GM held. " GM Big E approaches the podium...a hush comes over the crowd...as he says..... "Hey". "So lets not beat around Mandy's bush here..lets get right to it. I traded away ALOT of picks in a deep and talented rookie class. But we have our reasons. The main one being we won one game last year and a bunch of rookies arent going to change that, not as soon as we need it to. The income on the team and the drop in fan support lead us to bring in some stars that we beleive will help us become the greatest show on turf once again. The main priority our front office had was to bring in Mike Vick. He is still a great QB and we believe under Shurmur, who helped develop McNabb into one of the greatest QBs in the NFL, will be a pro bowl QB for yrs to come. Pat White is the future, do not be surprised if you dont see The Rams use "the wildram" this yr. But we also would like to explore a spread O more as well. Ocho Cinco has been brought in to teach our youngsters and to remind the city what a #1 wideout can do. On D we made some moves as well, some PB players have been added. We beleive in our team, and it may not be this yr and it may not be next yr. But with a solid core of youth and vets we think we are headed in the right path. Questions?
No, you've done a good job with assembling your team, GM Big E. You've been questioned in the past and have done well (see Austin Collie), so there will be no questions from the Seattle Seahawks.
If I understand this correctly, you traded Marc Bulger, Donnie Avery, and a 2nd round pick for Lee Evans, and then traded him plus Greg Olsen (who you had acquired in the Stephen Jackson trade) for a sixth round pick Kris Dielman and Eric Weddle... so essentially, you traded Marc Bulger, Donnie Avery, a second round pick, a sixth round pick, part of Stephen Jackson's dread locks for Dielman and Weddle. How do you sleep at night?
