Excellent write-up and pics...Still bitin' on CK's style, though. http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/thed...ami-dolphins-30-9-win-over-the-new-york-jets/ Interesting alignments are also discussed...
Ben Volin is my favorite beat writer covering the team. The photo you posted is probably the play where Pouncey, Incognito and Long were going after Maybin.
Yup, the article definitely opens up a more practical and insightful discussion about the game. CK must have bigger fish to fry, because... We gotta get CK in here and see whether or not anyone else used this framework for blogging before. All credit should be due to CK, as it has gone mainstream.
Great observations from Volin. I like the line "now lets press R2 on the playstation controller" Based on what he said, it looks like John Jerry has to it make up to the team the rest of the year for missing his assignment which lead to Tannehills injury.
Some good stuff on cogs.. I'm a little confused at to what I'm hearing about Richie, I'm hearing conflicting analysis from people that know what their talking about.. I know I studied every one of his snaps in preseason and started a thread on how I thing he's a good player, with underrated movement skills...He graded out nicely in his snaps, better athlete than given credit for, but I haven't been focusing on him in game action during the regular season, I find it hard to believe he's doing as bad as some think.
I thought some of the telestration was subliminally phallic enough... Clearly, the formation itself implies a dick joke...Wherin Tebow is ironically the shaft, while simultaneously getting shafted on the play.
Thank you for posting this! The one that is concerning is where Tannehill misses Fasano who was WIDE OPEN over the middle there. Instead he forced the ball to Hartline up top. Nice analysis and a fun read.
