I don't think Dolphins fans as a whole are much more supportive of our team. But I'll say this. The Jets went to the freaking AFC Championship Game two years in a row in 2009 and 2010. Miami hasn't even come close to that level of success in a decade. Our fans have more to gripe about.
As much as I've maybe not appreciated the play of certain players, I could never imagine shouting things like that to a Miami Dolphin. Not surprised Jets fans forget these players are also human beings.
Defending Jet fans is not one of my favorite things to do but can you really blame them? Remember the fans you hear on that YT clip probably paid top dollar for their seats and to spend a Thanksgiving night watching that debacle, I too might want to strangle my team if I had to sit through that.
I don't think paying for a ticket entitles anyone the right to treat players like that. Hate the team but to treat the individual players like that is uncalled for. Now, if you're a fan of the opposing team, that kind of heckling is fair game! I will say this though. This is the environment Rex Ryan has created. When you constantly run your mouth and promise super bowl titles every year, fans are bound to react when this is what they get instead.
This is why the perception that a team selling out = great fans thing is total bull****. This type of thing is representative of the Jets fanbase, but hey, they sell out all their games! GREAT FANS! Meanwhile, Dolphins fans show their displeasure by not showing up = fairweather, crappy fans.
Tough times for gang green. Its gotten so bad that Fireman Ed quit http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/51313/morning-take-fireman-ed-quits
Well, he said he's still gonna go to games... but anonymously. Good luck with that one. His mug's been on TV like 1000 times.

See them?? Dude I wish I can only see them but unfortunately I have to work, live, eat and share holidays with them, hell I'm at the gym and the guy on the machine behind me is wearing a Jets hat. They are like cockroaches being everywhere and always at times when you least want to deal with them.
I'm far from being a Jets sympathizer, but I can totally empathize with the fans. I flew down to South Flordia from CT for the Dolphins game against the Titans a few weeks back. 275 airfare, 130 for the ticket, and 75 for a car rental only to witness a blow out. If I was sitting behind the Dolphins bench, I probably would have let them know how I felt about it too.
