Anyone see this? The browns coordinator is sorta calling it out way after the fact, on an espn article. I have to admit there is no way that was a good field goal...Like not even remotely close. Browns fans got burned. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2S7XG36nDM"]YouTube - Cincinnati Bengals vs Cleveland Browns 23-20 || Week 4 Highlights[/ame]
I didn't think it was good when I first saw the highlight, but it could have went right over the top of the left upright. It's very hard to tell from that camera angle IMO (and that is why the refs are right under the uprights).
I'm not sure how it can be the angle when the angle is straight ahead. I don't think that kick was good, and I don't think it went over the upright at all.
One of my friends at the network that televised that game....who works in the NFL TV production area....said there was no way it was good.
I was able to pause the video at just the right moment. The results are quite revealing. THE NFL's take.....http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4546351 wow. they have reviewed it from multiple angles and see nothing to dispute the call. but i can pause a youtube video and have clear evidence that it was no good. the nfl is a joke.
Pretty much...same thing with Brady calling for the roughing the QB penalty this week and the Ref nodding right before he threw the flag. That was denied as any influencing as well. Unfortunately for the NFL they can't burn these tapes.
no way that was good. i have long been amazed at the certainty refs show when they call a kick. most of the time they dont even seem like they are looking up at it
