They should have called themselves the HASS-beens! (Hagar, Anthony, Satriani, Smith)

 

Come on! Its much more fun to make snide comments on a message board.

I can't wait for this. I have really come to appreciate Sammy Hagar as a musician, so I'll pretty much buy anything he has a hand in, but this is like a dream come true. June can't get here fast enough!

Thanks Brother Greg! I am a huge Sammy "The Red Rocker" Hagar fan.

 

I really like all the members of the band.

 

Anything including Joe Satriani is usually really good, and being a Van Halen fanatic from way back, I'm glad to see Michael Anthony involved as well. Looking forward to this album, hopefully they tour in this area.

I've got that on vinyl from high school. They do a cool version of "Whiter Shade of Pale" on there.

 

I had it on cassette many years ago. I just ordered the CD today.

not to hijack the thread but I think everyone should listen to surfing with the aliens at least once, and I think eric johnson has a new album out as I heard his new single on the radio and its *****ing......

 

I had the cassette of Surfin when it came out, loved it. Now its on my MP3 player listen to it all the time.

I saw him with Joe and Steve Vai for the G3 tour in '03. Three hours of guitar solos.

 

Good stuff still? I love he and Dio's version of 'Dream On'.

That almost ruined it for me..really....someone was WAY off with their "Oh Yeah!"'s. DL'd the album from Amazon..cost me like $4.00 (I think it was a limited deal). It's good..not great...but noteworthy IMO. Something ot add to the classic rock collection as it's very much got the 80's feel.

 

I've been cranking this album since Monday almost nonstop. I love it! Between this and Iron Maiden: Flight 666 being released, it has been a great week!
