And that's a horrible penalty call against the Vikes. That looked to be either incidental or uncatchable.

 

bad call gives saints game... i wish the pass interference call was more like college...

Just Vikings history. Just a miserable history at times.

 

This is why I hate NFL OT... great game... but now a real tacky call on the PI... that 4th down run looked short... Favre doesn't even get a chance to touch the ball. Im not a fan of that in a game like this.

they really need to implement the college OT rules.

 

They need to give Minnesota the damn call.

 

I dont think thats a catch. Sure looks like that ball is "loose" as it hits the ground and into his hands. that's incomplete IMO.

WOW. A catch?!? Yep, same crew that called the Dolphins/Saints game.

 

5 turnovers you just can't win turning the ball over that many times. The what if game is if the Vikings don't turn the ball over inside the 5 twice they win this game. Chokeablity the Vikings have it.

I have to admit the refs waited till the 5th quarter to decide the game.

 

I agree it just cheapens the whole thing. I wish they would just change the rules for the playoffs though, and go to a Kansas tiebreaker starting at mid-field.

 

I don't know if i'd go strictly to the college system. I dont know if the shootout style would work wellf or the NFL.

I think At least give each team a drive. If the saints score here. Vikes still get the ball and at least have a chance as well. If they dont score, its over. If neither team scores on the first possession in OT, then the first team to score after that wins.

At least that way you get each team's offense, and defense on the field with a chance to win the game.
