To be honest, I'd be very surprised if Sparano didn't already have an idea of what his 53 man roster is going to look like, and how he's going to stash away the QBs. Assuming of course someone doesn't just turn it on in camp and F up his plan... which is a good problem to have.

Chad P is going to be the primary backup (IMO) so he needs a full training camp to make sure he's not anything but himself if god forbid Henne goes down.

I think so, recall the "if they want to be a Wr" stuff from this offseason, it never really was dismissed.

And Penny was throwing the ball just fine on Day 1, a healthy Penny means objectively, Henne, Thiggy,Penny are our best 3 Qb who can step into a game and be expected to play well.

White's real shot was as the PatCat Qb, and it simply may have been abolished.

If healthy I want Penny backin up Henne, that experience is like gold, too valuable to pass up for Henne's future, I would move thigpen, recoup a higher draft pick then which I paid, and Pat white moves up to 3rd for the season and wildcat offense.

Well Deej, we've both spent the offseason defending Pat White, could be we both were wrong, and Sparano and Co simply want to eliminate unknowns.

That's why Douglas and Grant are here, Sparano and Co are in Win Now mode and looked at that way, White may not be in the plans over Thiggy.

I look at like this...Thigpen is not gonna wanna be a third stringer, so I look for him to request a trade, showcasing him in preseason, then moving..If Penny grabs the #2 for this year, and stays healthy, i dont see the reason why he wouldn't want to do it next year. That also has to play a part in the fate of Tyler. So for me, If I got this guy for a fifth, and I know can get a 3rd for a 3rd stringer, I make the move.

True, could also be that they are not concerned with recouping a draft pick, they are more concerned with the best pure Backup Qb's behind Henne.

Why remake White when Thiggy is ready to play..right now?

then again sparano could simply state that Pat slipped in the shower, injured his "lower body" and has been placed on the PuP.

We'll see, but let me say...I don't think Pat is long for the Dolphins Roster.

Pat White is more than likely on a very short string Thigpen gives us some experience and a much better chance to win if we have to call on one of the two to step on the field.

I don't think the coaching staff is gonna believe that Tyler is a better QB then Penny, so there gonna have to deal with that situation if Penny is healthy, the reality is that he could possibly be your third for 2 years, will that player accept that role? I don't think so, could be wrong.

-0- Bro, White has been..removed..from the equation by being placed on the PuP.

Eh, whatever his problem is, I hope he can work it out.

As for the Qb rotation, all three Qb's have started at least 10 games in the NFL, I believe OMark pointed out that we are the only team who has that situation.

I'd guess if one's MultiDimensional Offensive Theory has any hope, it rides on Thigpen' shoulders for this season.
