Good news. Hopefully he can play Sunday.

Also, Berger and Long practiced. Marshall did not.

i love how they say "good news for henne fans"

im sick of it, how about good for dolfans. he gives us the best chance to win. i rooted for thigpen when he started, i rooted for pennington, why cant everyone just support whos playing and wish them well!?

    He's not human.

Anyway, this is excellent news on the Henne and Long front and, on n a much smaller scale, Marshall. He's not ruining practices.

In the end all that will be left are cockroaches and Miami sports reporters still trying to fan the flames of another QB controversy.

Sweet. Even without Marshall, if we have Henne we have a good chance against Oakland. Sure do miss Cammy at the moment though.

They say it like that b/c not all Fin fans are convinced that he gives us the best chance to win...

I think he does... but you've read this board. Many dont...

i understand that, but i havent seen many if any, say with our current qbs right now that henne isnt the best chance to win this season.

sure they may not like him. but i dont think its wrong to assume henne gives us the best chance to win currently out of henne/thigpen/ramsey

Of the four players... Chad Henne, Jake Long, Joe Berger, and Brandon Marshall... Brandon Marshall is the guy I would be most comfortable with sitting out compared to the rest. Obviously they all hurt, but of those four... I just feel we can make due for the time being without Marshall easier than the rest of the guys. Marshall and Henne are pretty interchangeable though, I guess.

And Chad Henne was out for the season along with Jake Long too.

I don't believe anything I read at this point, honestly.

I really hope henne, long and berger all play sunday. We may be able to get by without Marshall but honestly we're a much better team with him in there. I hope he gets better soon.

I hope Henning breaks his leg, arm, whatever, and has to sit out the game.

Lowest scoring team in the afc with marshall, travleling out too the west coast, playing a team that has a good running game. This smells like another loss for us no matter which qb we play.
Butr then again I predicted we would be beat the bears so what the hell do I know.

I agree 100%. I think Henne, when healthy, gives us the best chance to win. However, if he's not 100%, then I want to give Thigpen another look. With the offensive line in the shape that it is... I think a Thigpen at 100% may give us a better chance than a Henne at 70% or less. Henne already has mobility issues when healthy. Henne at 80-100%, absolutely get the man in there. But being a knee injury, I am a bit hesitant at this point.

Irregardless of who starts, I will be cheering for those players 100%!

Err Sick..come on man, we both know the truth of the Pennington thing, your show is archived after all...

But I feel you, I was labeled a "Henne Hater", not true, and as I've pointed out Cleo Lemon had his fans.

Can Henne pilot us to a win vs Oakland?

Sure, can Thigpen? I think he can.

Either way, as long as the Dolphins Win, I don't care who is the Qb, neither one has flaws like Fedler had so it is not like we are propping up the class idiot at Qb, both could pan out, so in that sense I'm not concerned, but I am concerned about the talent on offense no matter who starts.

Who, in your honest opinion, gives us the best chance to win this week? Personally I think this week comes down to who can move the pocket. I think last week showed Thigpens weakness when it comes to reading the defense. I think Henne does a better job there. On the other hand, we have an injured offensive line that showed it can't pass protect as well as the first half of the season. I am torn with this one.

If only we could get a running game going and when we do... stick with it. Brown may be injury prone, but the man can punish and wear out a defense if given the chance. We've seen it before; I for one would like to see it again. I would like for Brown to get 20 plus touches this game, if possible.

Hard to tell, the Raiders pass rush took a hit, but then again, they stockpile athletes.

I agree. What about my edited version? I put in my concerns about the running game, I guess shorty after you hit the reply button.

To me this should be a coming out of our running game, if we are going to have one. The Raiders have not responded well or answered to teams that can physically man handle them.

I realize with our injuries, this may not be possible. But one can dream, right?

EDIT: I forgot to mention... I am out for the night. I have to get my offspring ready for the drive tomorrow. I will hopefully be able to read this sites insightful posts sometime this weekend. Have a great Turkey Day everyone!

people brag about how tough he is and his pain tolerance and so on, but don´t forget he gave up multiple sacks to julius peppers last thursday, so even though he plays, he is clearly not what he normally does, don´t know if its a good thing to celebrate that he plays with his injury, when he is hurting this team overall
