Chad Henne has registered the best QB rating in his first two starts combined than any QB in his first two starts combined since the 1970 NFL merger, it was shown on NFL Network.

There has not been a better QB in his first two game in the last forty years. Im not saying Henne is the next Dan the Man, but that is an Awesome Stat.

    Live from the Internet.
I read somewhere that it was 5th highest after 2 games.

He's off to a pretty damn good start.

For reference, Dan's first three starts were over 100. Threw for 322 in his first start.

Here are Dan's nine rookie starts QBR:

    108.7
    113.9
    126.4
    94.1
    96.0
    38.2
    121.1
    119.5
    84.6

Dan was a monster. And we went 7-2.

Who was the 38.2 against Muck?

And the really great thing is, the next three games are the toughest of the year, after that things become much much less difficult.

Saints, Jets and Patriots is a tough stretch.

Thanks, I watched that season and the sort of buzz that Marino had "anything can happen when this guy has the ball" is the sort of buzz Henne has so far.

The difference is Shula would let Dan do what he did well, and to be honest Duper and Clayton would bail him out when he threw some balls into double coverage, iirc Duriel Harris was either injured or relegated that year?

Chad Henne has the potential to be better than Marino
the IceMan is the total package:
well schooled by Pennington, Henne has all the tools of the game, including the intangibles
Miami will return to the SuperBowl & win it under his leadership

Note: the jets will play against 13 men on the field in our next encounter: fear & intimidation will line up against them with every snap of the ball. they will be humiliated in their own stadium, before the very rude NY mob & their season will begin to slowly disolve.
    we will :deadhorse:
