Ahh..CFL to NFL players, tbh though CJ, it is too soon to really comment one way or another on the effect that agreement will have as a record 22 CFLers made it to NFL Camps, but how many will stick won't be known until Saturday Evening after final roster cut downs.
That doesn't change that productive CFL players can and will leave and be recruited once their obligation expires. It just changes when ....
Exactly, and many players will sign in the CFL in this time frame and finish the season, then play one whole season in the CFL next yr and become FA's in 2012.
Wake with a nice summary, and that is probably what happened with Tsoumpas, he was a long shot to make it, had a poorish camp, so rather than miss half the CFL season, he asked for a release, got it, and resigned with the Stamps for 3 seasons.. And I'm calling it here: Phil Hunt will make an NFL roster if there is a season in 2011, especially if Wake has a big year, Hunt has dominated where ever he has played, from CUSA to the CFL.
Bleh. I live in Hamilton...got enough headaches with councils fight with the Tiger Cats over this stadium crap. The Ti-Cats owner is a boob. 7 years they spent planning the new stadium site and he waits till 6 months left in the process before he pipes up against it.
