Calvin Johnson says he can "still feel" the lower-back injury that bothered him throughout his rookie season.

Johnson took five weeks off after the season and is taking part in the Lions' offseason program. "I know it's there but it doesn't hurt," he said. Despite speculation his rookie struggles were due to a lack of playbook knowledge, the back injury undoubtedly restricted him. It may still be a problem.

wow, thats a bit depressing for lions fans(but what isnt?) if true. Hopefully this guy can get over it though and show everyone his true potential. If the Martz playbook was the problem, I guess we'll soon find out as their new offense takes shape now in the post martz era.. hopefully he starts making some big plays, theres no doubt that detroit needs him to in order to have a shot at winning
