Mike Pereira nailed it from the moment it happened. Props to him:up: It may be a dumb rule, but it goes to show just how stupid most fans are and just want to ***** about the referees every 5 minutes.

Do you remember when Herm Edwards challenged Dave W on a Chris Chambers TD? Correct call, but boy was I pissed.

I saw this live also. There was a Bills fan next to me and I told him it wasn't a touchdown. He looked at me like I'm some moron who hasn't watched football before. The rule is the rule, no touchdown. The rule is stupid though. He caught the ball with both hands, had full control, switched control to one hand, maintained control to the ground, turned over, went to get up, lost control, no touchdown. Makes no sense.

Calvin should have known the rule. ON the ground, every WR holds the ball up to show the officiating crew. You've got to. Even for a split second. You cradle that ball until you stop moving. Either Johnson didn't control the ball and played it off, or he chucked it early to celebrate.
