I would have voted for Woodson also. Revis had a great year, but was also on a team that could not stop teams when it mattered most on final drive. (Fins, Jags, Falcons) come to mind. Revis is an awesome player, Woodson had a better year.

I dunno. Everyone seems to be focusing on CB's. The picks (9) and return TD's (3) are all great, don't get me wrong. But, when I think of a great defensive player, I think of a tackling machine that also gets the extra stuff (sacks, TFL, FF/FR, PD's, picks, TD's etc.) And, Patrick Willis did all that. Not taking anything away from Woodson, but my vote woulda gone to Willis. And, I'm really surprised he didn't garner any votes at all. Shocked really.
Anyone who thinks it shouldn't be Woodson is crazy. The man is the epitomy of a shutdown corner. He is everything you want in a football player. He can play corner. He can play OLB and rush the passer, or cover the TE. He can play in the slot or as a safety. He is a great tackler, and has amazing playmaking ability. The impact Woodson made this year for Green Bay was hands down the best defensive perfomance of any player in the past 5 years. Without the fumble he forced from Fitzgerald, the Packers would have been burried. But he makes plays like that every week, and every time he takes the field. If I could add any player to the Dolphins, it would be him.
