So guys I thought of a good idea.. Since we spend so much time browsing these forums I figured we should all let everyone know what we do.. I'll start. I'm a District Business Consultant for Best Buy. I work from home, but cover all of South Florida, from Kendall up to Boca. I deal primarily with large companies and provide integrated IT solutions such as server implementations and connectivity (we recently acquired Speakeasy) and AV and digital signage solutions for businesses. Best Buy is an amazing place to work and I truly love what I am doing.. If anyone is looking to purchase equipment for business usage send me a quick PM, as I can work competitive pricing on home theater systems / LCD TV's and a variety of other IT/AV products.
I just may take you up on that TV discount in the future, thanks As for me, I am a business student at the University of Minnesota, most likely majoring in Marketing and perhaps minoring in Psychology.
I guess I'll be in the market soon for a new LCD TV though I guess I'm as far from Florida as it gets. Not sure what business I can sell but if you know someone with Alzheimers I might help. Or any AP/SAT tutoring.
Great to know.. We actually do a ton of restaurant installs nationally from an AV perspective... I'm sure they also need equipment and furniture.....
Oh yea, I frequent them often. You know if they have any price match programs? I know Circuit City had one with an extra 10% discount.
I'm not involved in the day to day retail operation, but I'm fairly certain that our pricing is very competitive in relation to what's out there... You can't begin to imagine our purchasing power..
Cheapest buggers on the planet = restaurant owners. They'll spend thousands on LCD Tvs and beat me up over a $700 fryer.
LOL.. They only care about what the customer can see..... Then again a lot of them are going the Insignia route, which is a decent TV but is a lot less in price.
Cool.. My wife and sister are both freelance copy writers... Awesome! What type of copy do you specialize in?
I do mostly internal corporate communications. Feature stories for company magazines -- that sort of thing.
