Sucks. 2 road games on the West coast followed by a short week and a night trip to a frigid Buffalo. Great.
This was always the most likely outcome. And this part of the schedule looked brutal in May when we first saw it. Not quite as bad now as it seemed then, with Green Bay and New England not quite as good as they might have been.
I think this will be the only game they won't be favored in down the stretch. It will be a tough task and a great challenge. Might as well get used to the cold weather as much as they can before the playoffs. They will need to get the running game going on this one. Josh Allen doesn't play very well in cold weather either, this is where their run game and defense takes over. Have to do the same to have a chance.
Wow, the next 3 games are going to be nationally telecast!! I love it since Orlando SUCKS at showing the Dolphins.
There's a chance that the NE game could be moved to SNF as well. I don't necessarily want it to be, because we're likely to have warmer weather at 1pm than 8:30. And then Week 18 has two games on Saturday plus SNF that are TBD. So either of them could be on national TV too.
When you have the commish on TV saying how "everyone loves cold weather games", they're clearly not in our corner. The League knows that we suck in those conditions historically.
I’m actually expecting Allen to have a bad game myself. It’s not like Allen is to cold weather like Favre was in Green Bay. I just hope and pray the field conditions are good because if it’s a snowy mess, that negates our primary weapon…speed!!!
Will be interesting if it's a snowy mess as both teams are good at stopping the run and both teams aren't great at running the ball. Allen was been terrible for a month, the Pats game was his first good game in a while. Maybe that elbow is getting better. He's due to miss games with his play style though, we have already seen Fields out this season and now Lamar is out as well. It's only a matter of time before running QB's get injured no matter how big and strong they are.
I wonder if the NFL will penalize Sean Payton for “tampering”, since he expressed his desire to coach the Cardinals and the Chargers, while: a. Both teams currently employ head coaches b. He is under contract with the Saints Hmmmm…….
Also, the league should be trying to stick it to Snyder, who has blackened the league’s collective eye far more than Ross.
Tampering is always the League's "Stick it to you" card. They only use it when someone crosses the influential owners and pisses them off.
