Its ***** ball, this will work against teams like the raiders but forget about with teams like the pats.
I think they could beat the browns by 20 tommorow if they wouldn't sit on the lead. The way this team is coached is not to lose instead of playing to win. If the ball bounces the wrong way they could lose tommorow.I just don't like that mentality.Place the foot on the throat and roll these ****ers.
Remember in 2008, when we barely beat ****ty teams like the Raiders, 49ers, Seahawks, all in low scoring games? The philosophy is the same then as it was now. We've been good at winning close games mainly because we let teams hang around with our playcalling. Just once I'd like to see them open it up and pound the **** out of team like the Browns. Put up a 20 point first half for once in your coaching tenure.
After looking at the stats, IF... We run the ball HARD....force Cleveland to keep 8 in the box... We stay committed to the run, regardless of any loses on running plays... Henne will be able to expose Cleveland's weak pass defense and have a tremendous game, lighting up the scoreboard. BUT...knowing what I know of Dan Henning... We won't even try to run the ball. Cleveland has a weak pass defense and he'll try to do nothing but pass, pass, pass. Cleveland will see we've abandoned the run and commit to pass defense only and Henne will get picked twice. I want to say 37-16, but my head is telling me it's going to be more like 26-24, Miami coming out in a nailbiter.
Or outscore the opponent 20-3 in the second half like last week. If you stick around chances are the 3rd and 4th quarter might be a little more important. Halftime adjustments. Before you respond know I was surprised too.
Miami 27 Cleveland 10 I predict a big day from Cameron Wake and Sean Smith. Chad Henne will look good and Ricky, not Ronnie, will have the bigger day on the ground.
