What was Gordon projected as? As for their offense ahead of ours, I can't agree with that. There are too many question marks for both teams to have a good answer for that.
I don't think there's any argument to the contrary that Parcells was the ultimate authority early on, especially that first year. I don't think Ireland was in a position to veto picks. Parcells was the one setting qualifications on moves that Ireland wanted to make and doing the vetoing. No, that's not what I'm suggesting either. Ireland was involved in some degree in every decision. But he wasn't ultimately the guy who made early deicisons.
I disagree. I think the Browns have been doing a good job of building their team up slowly. Last year they had the 5th overall defense in terms of points allowed and the 10th overall defense in terms of yards allowed. They did this with their young studs Phil Taylor, TJ Ward, Joe Haden, Jabaal Sheard. All four of those guys have the potential to be pro bowlers and are only a few years removed from the NCAA ranks. They added Richardson, which wasn't a sexy pick but a solid one this year. I think the front office has done a great job there. They are on the rise I can tell you that.
I made a bunch of money last year betting on the Browns. Almost every week I would bet them and take the points they were give, it worked like a charm.
Well, since he didn't make them it's entirely possible. I'd be more concerned about where Parcells was boozin' it up that day.
what games ye speak of, sir DJ? The poster made a comment that Ireland used a 1st round pick to replace his 2nd, and since Ireland has only had one other draft prior to this year it could only mean the poster was referring to Daniel Thomas.
I don't recall signing up with this pimpboy person. I could be grammarly wrong but I think you need more than 2 for a group.
Browns schedule is brutal this season. Plus, when it comes down to it, we have better QBs than Cleveland. Weeden and Tannehill are likely a wash. Both could fail miserably and it wouldn't be a surprise. But Miami has two other QBs that can be decent starters. Cleveland doesn't.
