How would we feel if a longtime diehard Jets fan bought the Dolphins? This has got to suck. Lol @ Cleveland sports... My goodness.

Seriously, if $1 Billion for the Browns is a good price, then the owners better STFU about player salaries.

Trash is expensive these days, I see.

And yes, this probably means Mike Holmgren is gone. Though it's not as if his on the job performance has justified his continued presence.

Not really. Holmgren at least recognizes the value of quarterbacks. His personnel evaluation just isn't great, which is true of most coaches.

Being a member of the NFL is worth ~$650M alone.

So essentially that means the Browns' gate receipts/concessions/etc. value is ~$350M, which seems about right.

This probably is actually a solid purchase, because making that team into a respectable one on the field will pay off handsomely.

Can't even argue that point. Just my own personel opinion on Holmgren. They both seem to have been left behind by the current NFL in one way or another. Holmgren could prove me wrong but I never see Parcells doing it. Unless he is given a freebie like say takeing over the Saints or something like that for one season.

Now Belicheat will go out ill and Parcells will step into that with my luck.

I wonder if Cleveland will ever return to their long lost Glory Hole days.
