I believe he got traded because he had fumbling issues and Shanahan lost faith in him. Its interesting to see him back. He was selling cars prior to this phone call. I'm kind of surprised to see him back considering he was caught stealing after he was released from the Lions. He still fits that scheme because he's a one-cut and go back but I don't think he can take on many carries. The talk was that he would be signed today if he showed up in shape and I'm assuming he did.
I mentioned this as a joke when Hall and Pittman went down... I didn't think it would actually happen..
