In a move that might say more about the extent of the arm injury suffered by receiver Brandon Marshall than the team or the player disclosed, the Denver Broncos are take a close look at not one but two veteran free-agent pass-catchers. According to the Denver Post, the team is close to signing Samie Parker, formerly of the Chiefs. Likewise, the Broncos are “deep in discussions” with Darrell Jackson, the former Niners receiver who was cut earlier this year after one season with the team. Other receivers on the roster are Brandon Stokley, Glenn Martinez, Keary Colbert, Taylor Jacobs, Derrick Hamilton, Clifford Russell, and Edell Shepherd. Javon Walker was released after trade efforts fell through. http://www.profootballtalk.com/2008/04/14/broncos-looking-at-two-veteran-wideouts/
To be completely honest, I like our current Recievers MUCH more than what the Donks have left on roster. I dont blame them for looking for others in FA>..
