The Denver Broncos are considering bring in veteran free agent kicker Paul Edinger for a tryout, according to the Denver Post.

The Broncos are looking for competition for Matt Prater, who remains the top candidate to replace the recently departed Jason Elam.

In addition to free agent K John Carney, the Broncos are reportedly considering bringing in Paul Edinger for a visit.
The last we heard of Edinger he was getting cut by an Arena League team. Either veteran would compete with Matt Prater, the only placekicker currently on Denver's roster. With few even mediocre kickers available in the draft, the Broncos really should've been more open to paying Jason Elam.
