One year ago, if I was asked an open-ended question on who would be the top overall player in the 2008 NFL draft, the response would've included 3 names: Glenn Dorsey, Darren McFadden, and Brian Brohm. Here we are, less than two weeks away from the draft, and the only true mystery around Brohm is whether he'll be drafted in Round 1. And frankly, that's just wrong. Let's debunk the myth right now: Brian Brohm is going to be a starting quarterback and a winner in the NFL. He is also going to end up being a first-round pick. Brohm's stock sunk like a rock after Louisville slumped to a 6-6 season in '07. But if you watched the Cardinals' demise, you know it was because of a simply pathetic defense. As a result, Brohm and the Cardinals' offense consistently had to play from behind. Good read link to rest of story http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/8032770/Brohm-poised-to-become-solid-pro-QB
I have to agree with you and don't truly understand why Matt Ryan is graded above Brohm. All Of Bryan's stats are better than Matt's. He is much more accurate and has a better field of view in my opinion. I've got Ryan graded behind Henne to be honest with you.
I like Brohm and rate him as highly as I do Matt Ryan. He would've been my preference last year if he declared and he still is. If he can stay healthy, he will be a good starting QB.
I think Brohm will excel in a west coast offense. He's clearly a first rounder and I predict the Vikings will grab him with their first
