Prescription drug abuse is rampant in America. Heath Ledger lost his life because of it, and now allegedly her as well. We don't hear about the thousands and thousands of other Americans who lose their lives over prescription drugs though. Not to sound callous, but nobody seems to care about all the other people. Just saying.
The sad thing is that some of the scrips found in her bedroom alongside her own were her mother's, and some of them were seemingly contraindicated with the ones prescribed to her. She was severely underweight and struggled to stay healthy the last year or so, although there is no indication of an ongoing eating disorder.
